I've worked everyday during the world's "greatest pandemic" in the health care field, but the holocough finally caught me. I feel 100%, but can barely taste, and can't smell. Those symptoms suck, being a chef and all. I will say that the fact I won't be paid due to being "unvaxxed" burns my ass something fierce!

Just wondering how your company knew you were infected with covid. Mine is also refusing pto for unvaxed covid employees. My plan is to keep my medial information to myself and to use PTO just like I would with any other cold.

Sounds like a serious breach in labor law. They provide sick days, your "sick"... might want to spent your time off talking to a lawyer.
