I have noticed that only Logitech were able to make an ergonomic mouse. Just one model, the Logitech MX Master. All other mouses are not ergonomic. Designers are supposed to make ergonomic devices, but they don't. It is quite scary that 99% of designers don't know shit about ergonomics.

Wonder of it is a patent issue or is a collision issue for some strange reason

I've been buying oversize gaming mice from RedDragon, a model they call the Griffin. It fits my hand quite nicely, and my fingers and thumb don't overhang the mouse at all. They're also reasonable at about $25.

Have you ever tried a trackball?

I've done all the ergonomic mouse stuff, and some of them are good, but I've found a trackball is far better.

Don't rely on one ergonomic design, learn to hold a mouse in different ways instead. 1st step is to learn to use the other hand (good luck, but don't give up), so that you are always able to switch when fingers or wrist hurt.
