Biden quickly activated security forces, if I remember, the national guard, and also FEMA... to evacuate cities affected by the hurricanes in Kentucky, Arkansas and Illinois, the "help" is the excuse of these tyrants. The most the government could do is give hammers, nails, sledgehammers, saws and hoes (tool) for the population to learn to solve their own problems in these situations.

I don't trust anyone who looks nice and wants to help, be it the government, corporations, Red Cross, Rotary and Lions Club, etc.

To me, it seems morally correct for the government to help out in certain disaster situations. I share your distrust for all manner of government program and supposed non-profit organizations, but it's in our collective best interest as "united states" to stop the undue expansion of wildfires, mitigate flooding, and make sure people aren't stranded up shit creek. Obviously, it would be better if each state saved a reasonable amount in their emergency fund for whatever reoccurring natural disasters happen, but that shouldn't disqualify Congress or the President from voting to help on a case by case basis. In a perfect world, the government is composed of people, and people should look out for people. I know it doesn't goddamn work and that everyone we have has been bought and sold a long time ago, but that is how it's drawn out on parchment.
