We’ve all seen the kid in the wheelchair with his face paralyzed like he’s screaming at a ghost and his hands/arms paralyzed in the “retard” position on his chest. Why are they kept alive? They can’t enjoy their lives, they’ll never contribute anything meaningful to society, they’ll never reproduce; they’ll never be anything except a drain on their parents and on society. Why and when did we decide to start keeping them around?
