Was watching some with the kids. A couple of takeaways: 1) people in the parade have to wear masks even though they are outside. The bands don’t while they are playing. 2). They had a float with a bunch of Indians on it doing a tribal dance. Then the Indian narrator started talking about how the settlers/colonists tried to destroy them and their language 3) I turned it off

I turned it on and they announced a live performance of the Broadway musical “Six”, about the wives of King Henry VIII. Three of the 6 women were black. The wives of Henry the VIII….black?! How is that not the cultural appropriation they like to claim? Those women were real and most definitely not black.
