nothing is "buried" here. maybe if we had 10x or 100x more users, and had thousands of comments per thread it would be an issue, but it should be up to the user if they want to read posts that people thought didn't add anything.
I understand that you are too stupid to comprehend the issue. That's OK, just shut the fuck up about it and stop trying to spread your ignorance like the plague that it is, unless and until you absorb the data required to hold an informed opinion on the topic.
Even with the protections in place by the site operators, Poal is about 80% shills and botted accounts, and about 20% actual posters and commenters. If not for the downvoting rule, the shill posts would dominate the first two pages every day, and the better comments would be hidden unless you clicked them open. Eventually this would just become another faggotty echo chamber full of curated "opposition." Like your spiritual homeland back at Reddit.
I like what aou is doing, and don't mind if things are hidden, as long as they are still there to read.
Well you do understand the concept of "this isn't your site so it isn't run according to what you like or what you don't mind," right?
