Stopped at rest stop. Old Black guy with his wife, he says, driving a car comes up and asks me to help him get to some city nearby, with some money. I said no, he drives off. Is that normal, blacks hitting you up for money in random places.

I once gave $5 to a very tall black guy in downtown LA. He said he needed the money for gas to get him and his family to Bakersfield. Fast forward two years later and the same guy asks for money to get him and his family to Bakersfield. I told him I had given him money before and that if he had not made it to Bakersfield by now it wasn't going to happen. He turned away and said naw man it wasn't him. It's all scams.
