Contentment isn't discovered in wealth. Besides, that's not even the aim. The aim is to avoid impairment on the path to contentment. Even then, rich people don't actually go buy expensive ass appliances. They're wealthy because they don't make those decisions. People that make retarded finacial choices like that are not rich (beyond extreme exceptions) and if they are they've either been rich for a very long time or they won't be for much longer.
