I am not required to get a vaccine where I work. However, it is certainly very helpful so I can travel unrestricted as part of my job. Our CEO is a good person and never wants to force it on us. However, his hands are tied now that OSHA made it mandatory for companies with 100 or more employees. I'm just ahead of the curve and do not have to worry about this bullshit.
Hated the vaccine, yes. But I got it because it kept me more productive and useful in the workplace, performing my duties. Many people depend on me to keep the company running safely and securely. Being unable to travel would greatly diminish my ability to safely and securely do my job with the travel restrictions.
This same thing applies to anyone who works in the healthcare industry but even more so because you come into contact with the immunocompromised. More so for people who provide healthcare, like you: you should know better. You are more educated than the masses. You should know better than to fall for this absolutely retarded bullshit anti-science, antivax, idiocy.
Yes, all vaccines have side-effects. That has never not been the case. But the science is in, we have the data: these COVID-19 vaccines are overwhelmingly a success and do what they are designed to do.
