Huh?
What are you talking about?
Yes, an FMJ slug has more penetrating power. Factually and objectively, FMJs have far more penetrating power and would go through multiple soft targets. That's how they work. That's the point.
Hollow Points most certainly DO expand in soft targets. They cause far more damage to soft targets and they DO expand in the target often fragmenting. They have significantly less penetration power.
Same slug weight (grain), same powder mass, FMJs will go through more targets but have a smaller damage area. HPs will go through fewer targets (if even beyond just one), cause massive damage to the primary target, and expand or even fragment in the first target.
It is YOU who seem to not know what you're talking about.

Here's a ballistics gel test comparing the two:

Well, wouldn't it be great if that's what he said?

Hey Einstein: Nobody said that the penetrating power of FMJ and JHP were the same. The reason this assfucker is a clown is because he doesn't understand the purpose of the two bullet designs. He just shoots his mouth off without having even done the most basic of research available to anybody on the Internet with 15 minutes to check it out. He makes the logical leap from "JHP has less penetrative power" to "JHP is designed to be safer." It matters because his whole theory is that Kyle's magazine loaded with FMJ is evidence that Kyle intended to kill people and showed a reckless disregard for others' safety. If this bed wetting homo actually knew what he was talking about he would know that his theory is ass backwards. If Kyle had intended to kill we would have been using JHP. The fact that he was using FMJ specifically suggests Kyle did not intend to increase the chances of killing someone he might shoot. Why do you think JHP is banned by the , because they're not dangerous enough?
Nice try but this is what you said:
The idiot numale thinks the point of hollow points is to "explode" in the target so they don't continue on and hurt other people, and that FMJ is designed to go through multiple people/targets.
You're the idiot and I corrected all of it. No amount of backtracking on anything you said will change the fact that you said some retarded shit.

This one has extra special reading comprehension.
So you're argument is that the point of hollow points is to explode in the target to keep everyone behind the target safe? That's why they were invented, to keep people safe? And you believe that FMJ was invented to strike multiple people with one shot?
I'd like to see you produce evidence those were the purpose of their design. I'm sure you would never pass up the opportunity to educate us ignorant people.
