After 2 weeks, I went from a plump 147.7lbs or 66.6kg to svelte 142.2lbs, or 64.5kg. My fighting weight is 137, so I was getting too big and had to do something about it. I also gained some muscle in the process.

A pro body builder gains 10 lbs of muscle a year. You woke your muscles up and got them ready to work. In 2 weeks? You gained 1/2 oz of muscle

Yep even a marshmallow can get pumped

The problem with body builders is they focus on specific parts of the body, their workouts and machines prohibit them from taking a more complete approach. Furthemore, there are different types of muscle fibers, some are developed differently than others. I've actually been building these muscles the better part of the year, the diet was just recently.

Im not criticizing. I see a lot of guys on here that claim "I gained 10 lbs of muscle in a month!". Physically impossible.

5 pounds is basically water weight. You can fluctuate that much from eating more or less salt.

Not trying to shit on the work you're doing but you're setting your goals and standards very low. Where do you REALLY want to be?

Where I am now, I can lose the water weight and make weight for a fight. It's the ratio of muscle to fat that was concerning me.

To someone who's never had to lose weight what does knocking off about 5 lbs involve?

Lot's of shitting and cutting out carbs. Then you gain 4 more in muscle so you really end up losing 9lbs of energy dense fat. Sure the machine is more efficient and needs less energy to run, but I've given up some energy stores.
