Poal is basically voat with better maintenance. I remember when I made an account on here a year before voat ever got shut down just on the off chance of something. Never thought voat would get shut down. I forgot I even made an account here. Then voat went down and I came here and I tried to make an account and it said name was talkin. I was like goddamnit somebody took my name. But it was meeeeee

Everything has died down a bit in terms of free speech and has either been tempered via fear or folks are just burned out in politics and so there’s no real incentive to join back in.
Otherwise gab and the .wins are doing well but are quite tame (although the Overton window is shifting majorly) and the Chans which are even more polluted with tranny porn and niggers so basically it’s just one giant hiatus imo
