Hey faggots , I'm an old fart , and work a blue collar physically demanding job. Worked 12 hours yesterday. The first thing I'm doing this morning is going the gym and hit the iron.

If an old fart like me can work 50-60 hours a week and still.work out regularly you can too.

Train your body and mind to be tough and resilient. Who gives a fuck how you feel. I feel like eating a big breakfast and going back to sleep , but instead I'll be doing Squats , and Back, Rear delts and biceps.

Push yourself , exceed your self imposed limits.

Working out is the best thing a human being can do, physical activity. If the government gave a fuck about us they would pass an exercise mandate. There are always those days where I really really don’t feel like going and those are the days I force myself to go. It’s easy to do it when you want to but it’s more important to do it when you don’t want to. Mentally and physically train your body. Is pays off all the time

Built myself a home gym at the start of the year. It's been going well other than some shoulder injury I'm now recovering from. Listen to your body, if it starts hurting, stop and reassess. Also: doubling your weight in a day isn't a good idea.

I remember when I first started working out. When I was in 8th grade or so. I was squatting. Terrible form. Putting all the weight on my back. Some guy told me I was doing it wrong and being a kid my attitude was basically fuck you. He was giving me great advice though because the next day my back gave out. I was playing football with some friends running around just fine and I literally just fell down. I couldn’t hardly walk. I literally borrowed a cane to use all day. The funny thing is I think my parents thought I was joking around or something cause they really didn’t care

I fucked myself up pretty good as a youngster. Neighborhood bench press contests , bouncing the loaded bar off my chest weird arching my back to lock out those elbows. Fucked myself up good doing heavy upright rows. Luckily got older and smarter , paid attention to form and body mechanics

I'm currently at a Planet Fitness the dumbbells only go to 75 , that's what I use. They don't even have proper benches or squat racks.

After the Jan 1 I'll be going to a more hardcore gym , maybe do a Lil powerlifting for a month or two

hate that place , I swear they have their equipment designed to be angled just right so its uncomfortable and may cause pain. this way it discourages people from building up.

Already did mine. Kettlebell Swings, Gob Swats, Suitcase Deadlifts, Gorilla Shuffles, 15:15 Viking Protocol, Clean and Press, Longsword Drills and Rapier Drills.

it's the first thing I do when I get up, 1-2 hours of gym. work 12 to 14 hours a day, going after work just didnt work for me especially with night shift.

doing 8 hour days I would go before and after work, made me feel great going lime that and helped me know better what was going on in the community
