Google has been steadily declining. My gmail app randomly stops giving me new email notifications and I have to manually check them. Maps will give you a stupid route that lets you get caught at red lights making a left turn and make your trip significantly longer because you sit at a red light for 5 minutes longer when Maps told you the route with less left turns was 3 minutes faster. Not including censorship and politics, the quality of what they are making is drastically declining.
