Someone probably even got a raise for leading the effort
I will paraphrase some sections of our 14 minute call today:
"First, you make me do a self-assessment every year, despite there being no raises.."
"Then, I'm pissed, but prepared to take a $1200 demotion as a 'medical surcharge', despite already having covid - and it costing the company nothing; is [the VP of HR] going to have to pay more because his BMI is high and heart disease is the leading cause of death?"
"[Manager's name] you know me well enough to know I'm serious when I say this - there are two things I dislike most in this world, and that's the federal government, and communists telling me what to do"
"That coward announced this deadline on the last possible day to get your first 'vaccination' shot, and then instead of taking me out back behind the barn and putting me to the wall like the communist he is, he's just leaving me here unpaid like a wounded animal for 8 weeks so I can't get unemployment."
"Let's imagine from right now there are two scenarios: 1 - I do the best job I've ever done starting right now, and I still lose my job as a remote employee in a different State from the company, because I refused an experimental injection; or 2 - I can do absolutely nothing. Now you and I can both agree 1 is certainly out of the question; and opt 2 isn't desirable. So naturally, I'm somewhere in the middle where I just don't really care. "
"I can do better than work for a bunch of communists who constantly change the goal posts every 2 weeks.... sure they're handing out the religious exemptions now - but I just don't like working for communists"
