Recently I have discovered that cleaning is relaxing. I got a lot of cleaning and polishing products and started cleaning everything around my home. When something turns like brand new, I feel deep relax and satisfaction by just standing and watching it.

Some great wise man said , “everyday polish something you own.”

You have rediscovered this gem.

I get the same feeling from doing yard work.

I love that feeling. This time of year. When it’s fall. And there’s a cool Breeze. That feeling when you get done doing some work and you have a slight sweat and the breeze catches it. The sun is going down. Best feeling ever. The smell of the air. Like the last time you cut the grass for the winter. I love that feeling.

That's why I love gardening and started an orchard this year. It looks like standing aliens out there with the winter wrap and bag heads over the young trees. We have animals that eat anything sticking out of the snow. Moose can go right through a fence with little effort.

There real secret is that, for those who aren't afraid to break a sweat, any kind of manual labor can be relaxing.

It’s relaxing if I live alone but not with roommates that are shitty 9 out of 10 times.

True. Cleaning up your own mess is a good feeling, cleaning up other people's mess is annoying.

That's the accomplishment dopamine hit. Creative and productive work are where it's at.

Sending dick pics is also a dopamine hit so send me one

I don't want to short circuit your natural accomplishment reward system...you might get addicted to what the dick did.

It's almost like we're on the same wavelength. I too enjoy cleaning. Japense consider it relaxing as well, as I'm sure you already know.

By the way, nice frog icon.

I don't clean constantly, but I do find a spotless home after a major clean to be most satisfactory.

Sending your nudes to people is one of the most relaxing things you can do. Why don’t you shoot them my way id love to help you out. You can just pm me

I do winter deep cleaning to keep busy. Most of our indoor maintenance is done during that time. There is something satisfying about having a clean bathroom and kitchen. I'm terrible about organizing the kitchen.

There's a great psychological explanation for this (I recommend everyone watch the vid):

It extends to more than just cleaning your living space, of course. Apply this to your fitness and eating.
