I can't remember how long I waited last year, but at least 45 minutes, maybe an hour.
This year, walked right in. Whole process probably took 5 minutes.
Not much on the ballot, mayor and school board. Some judges but they were unopposed.
People are mostly apathetic unfortunately.

We had a green energy initiative that was basically a gimme for the committee running it, with some “muh minorities” thrown in to try and garner the democrat vote.

In the UK there is exactly zero point in voting because even the conservatives are actually far left liberals, and any potential right wing party gets shut down and jailed for hate speech.

This was a pretty charged election. It could also be interesting to speculate how many of the "missing" voters were actually fake ballots in the general election. They don't pull out all the stops in the off year so the tricks are available for the important elections. They Dems will be pulling out all the stops for the Mid-Term as this indicates they are in for a bog loss.

In local elections all seats typically will go to whatever group has the majority. For this reason a lot of the election is pretty dumb. In my area every person running for the school board had a woke bio, and you get to pick 3, or whatever. So there really is actually no point. I think it is like a 65/35 area or something, so no use in "being the change" and running myself or propping someone up.
It feels like they are starting to lose the coercive hold on people, but i'm not holding my breath. I don't think I saw a trump sign in the entire city because the brainwashed masses are so aggressive here (trump supporters aren't perfect, but are better than many).
