A gas station with no gas. I was too young to experience the crisis in the early 70s, but it happened today. Gas jumped 50 cents this afternoon, one station near me was a little cheaper and was backed up into the street, the one across the street had no gas.

Looks like the 1970s is back on the menu. Thanks Biden.

I asked the clerk, she said that they had been trying to get a delivery of gasoline that day, but it wasn't happening.

I think this is hyper-localized, but it's certainly got me thinking I need to pick up another can, just as a buffer.

I don't want to be an alarmist cunt, but everything needs energy. If gas/propane/coal have supply disruptions, everything gets disruptions.

You might want to skip hoarding an extra jerry can of gas and buy some dried beans and rice instead.

You take care of your particular situation, I'll take care of mine.

I'm certainly not staying where I currently am if that kind of disruption hits.

You will need the gas to cook the beans.

Got it covered. Burn wood and boil/filter water.
