I got a total of 8k in loans to try to go to school. School turned out to be a craptastic shit hole, which shut down a couple years after I went.

Because of that I said fuck it Im not paying that shit.

15 years latter my 8k loan is now 60k I owe back.

Still aint paying shit.

Beware.

Houses are not the sure thing they used to be and there are far more costs associated with owning a normal house than there used to be and they will eat up your equity.

If you can buy a peice of land free and clear and build a tiny one room shack on it or whatever you can afford without any debt. Then add to it if you want.

There are huge pitfalls with house ownership now.

Especially if in an HOA.

YOU CAN EASILY GET STUCK IN A MONEY LOSING SITUATION THAT YOU CANT GET OUT OF.

for example HOAs can alter what you can do after you already bought the house. They can also decide all the house should be palaces and dictate that all homeowners must upgrade to diamond coated walls and if you can't afford it they fine you and can literally foreclose on your house.

i'm gonna give you some advice. demand a letter from whomever serviced the loan stating in black and white that the loan is completely paid off and that you have no more business with them.

when i sent them about $22, 000 and paid off my loan, those sneaky bastards somehow left 10 pennies owed which did not pay off the loan. I threatened them with a class action suit and demanded a letter cerifying the debt is paid in full and that i have told them to officially fuck off and never contact me again.

Sorry for what happened to you. You give some good advice. I did contact them over the phone and specifically asked them--three times--if this was the last payment to close the account. The girl said 'yes,' and I told her I expect a letter/receipt for amount paid in full. She said 30 to 45 days. I also told her I wanted an e-mailed copy. I could see the rats doing this to people with interest horseshit. It's a shame the Jews have done this, and more of a shame the sheep have allowed it to happen.

Thank you for the warning! I'm close to paying off my own loans and had no idea there was a process. Every time I call to pay off an individual loan they give me a hard time. I can only imagine how much they'll squirm when the last ammt is paid. Thank you!

one guy thought he paid his loans off. they left something like 20 bucks on the payoff. 20 years later they were coming after him for 40 grand. and this is not a lie. the fines and penalties kept racking up.

Yeah, I just got pre-qualified today. The housing market is finally starting to cool off in my area. Waiting for the crash, but my lease is up in November. I will probably have to buy time in December, but my rent would be around the same cost as a mortgage. So it is absolutely pointless to stay in the shithole I live in.

Man I moved houses at the end of last November and boy did I luck out that the weather wasn't shit quite yet. Maybe this doesn't apply to your situation, but where I live the outside can kill you from exposure 3-5 months out of the year.
