I'm finding it increasingly difficult to have compassion for people who are this clueless.
They are victims of institutional oversocialization. They are over-assimilated into society to the point where they cannot think for themselves, thus generating feelings of low self-esteem and self-worth and eventual gravitation towards leftist ideologies/mindset. Ted was right on the money.
You're absolutely right. This man served in the Navy as a crew chief for helicopters. Then he worked hard for a massive machine company for decades, then he moved on into this smaller shop where I worked with him. He blindly obeys his doctor and the boss.
He began to have a sort of "don't give a fuck anymore" attitude, as he was in his mid 60s and ready to retire soon. He was physically fit for his age, suffered aches and pains because it was physical work. And wearing a mask in this particular environment was extra uncomfortable, worse than being in hot weather.
And he was told "this will help you" and got the shot. He didn't know a fucking thing about the side effects or even how this shit works- it's absurd that doctors don't disclose these things. They nearly murdered my friend. He's a decent guy. Kind, takes care of his family, worked his entire life, not a criminal or an addict or anything- the kind of guy you want as your neighbor. He nearly died all for a shot that may or may not improve his ability to fight off a virus that he may or may not get.
I've had it before, and then recently lived with someone who got really bad flu symptoms and tested positive. I took care of that person with ivermectin. That stuff is incredible, the turnaround was amazing, and no side effects. But doctors won't prescribe it, because they're scared of the FDA or something.
I would have said "I'm not wearing your fucking mask and I'm not getting the clot shot. Fuck off." Sometimes you just have to metaphorically choke a fucker to stop them attempting to trample your personal boundaries.
Many will die, so there isn't much since in worrying about wether they are victims to have pity for. Its better to devote your energy toward saving yourself and your loved ones (who didn't take the poison) from the continuous assault of those who have waged war on us.
I agree. But I'm not very forgiving these days.
