My mom is losing it too. Alcohol ruined her life. But we have to keep moving. Why? I don't know.

it happens. whem my grandfather passed my brother and I would take turns staying over with my grandmother. She had pretty bad dementia and would regularly ask who I was. It hurts, but at that point it's a "she wasn't herself" thing, that's kind of how we handled that.

Sorry you guys are going through that.

least it was only you and not the grandchild as well. dementia sucks my grandma has it shes in her 90s aswell, hopefully it doesnt get worse best of wishes

My grandma had a stroke. She couldn’t talk well but she knew who everyone was. You could tell when she had been drinking cause she really couldn’t talk then
