Self defense IMO. Same as an attacker coming at you with a gun or knife. Needle just works differently.

I've been told by ex military that there is some constitutional mercenary type group in the United States that executes enemies who blatantly violate the constitution but as far as I know, they've never done a single thing. So, it's probably an urban legend.
