its not impossible for stupid people to grow up - they just need to realize they are stupid and find intelligent persons to trust. I imagine there's an epigenetic mechanism that tries to balance the smart:stupid ratio.

When stupid people don't grow up to the fact they are stupid, they listen to the TV, recruiters, salesmen, etc. and get us all in trouble.
