Started working leather and learning how to make/repair shit. I have a feeling in the coming times textiles for barter is a solid form of currency. Any advice or opinions of what the most useful things to make to appeal to the largest group of my people would be?

For anyone that thinks it's easy to make a pair of shoes, practice making one shoe out of the cardboard from an empty 12 pack and some scissors and tape. It's a lot harder than you think.

I had planned on buying a huge roll of craft felt to practice actually. You are very correct making shoes that look modern is hard as fuck. Vintage Norse pointed shoes? Not so much lmao
