I knew the CFO of a large PBS station in a major city. She said they were rolling in money despite their regular beg-a-thons that made it sound like they were on the verge of collapse. The managers had cushy jobs taking rich people out to lavish lunches to tell them about tax breaks for donations. They produced very little content and just bought shows from other stations. She told me to never donate to PBS and she is a hard core liberal who loves their leftist leaning crap.
