They really need to do something about the space between the seat in a car and the center console. It’s a damn black hole that sucks up the phones, food bits, and anything you set on your lap. Very annoying

Check out the 'drop stop' its an as seen on TV product, that is inserted into those voids. Alternatively you could probably just shove some towels or something into the crevice.
