I have a persistent upper body rash, mild, but noticeable.
Hold on- what does it look like? Does it kind of look like ringworm crossed with poison oak/ivy? Do long blisters form under the skin with clear fluid, itchy and red? It goes away one week, you think it's gone, then suddenly around 8pm your elbow is itchy and OH FUCK NOT AGAIN, there's a little blistered area? They can form like little interlocked blisters, quite deep beneath the skin- if left alone, it'll itch like hell but the swelling goes down and leaves the area discolored. Am I describing something similar to you?
I've been experiencing this since I believe I had covid in November 2019. Bad flu took out my neighborhood and entire team at work, had us all laid up for 1-2 weeks. We just thought it was the flu. Looking back, I think it might have been the coof. I've had this rash looked at- it's not a fungal infection, it's believed to be a "contact rash", which sounds like an allergic reaction... but I don't have allergies I'm aware of. Haven't switched soaps or anything like that.
No, no, for me it’s just a mild rash that fades, then it pronounces again, no puss, no oils, barely itches if not at all. It seems more like a shingle virus but it’s not painful, only appeared after my flu last year.
Sounds like a viral outbreak. I have those from shingles and EBV. I follow my regime as noted above and take 1500mg of quercetin 2x daily until the rash recedes. I've taken prescription anti-virals but no effect. I get these outbreaks when I'm under stress mental and/or physical. If you haven't already exit sugar from your diet.
Just a little heads up on the rash, I started taking the NAC supplement about a week ago and I can already see a change in the rash intensity, it’s about half now. I’ll keep taking it and let you know if it improves further.
Mine is completely vanished. Entirely. I haven't been so clear of it in a long time- I might have had some kind of vitamin deficiency or something; when I was sick last week, I started taking a few extra supplements (stuff I know I'm not getting from food) and cold-cure stuff like vitamin C, those Zicam tablets (I think these are really good) and milk thistle.
I've totally recovered from w/e it was that I came down with last week. A couple people, including my doctor, have just started to come down with a cold or something similar to what I had.
Thanks! I’ll let you know if I find out more.
