5 months ago, in my +70 upvoted breaking news tech post, I did not list "https://vid8.poal.co/" at the top of the list in this thread (it was not structured on time of video uploads and had commingled old content too).

5 people including "uvulectomy, BurnInHelena, ItsOkToBeTsilent, Mental_Health_Checkup,BreadBug , and others that upvoted me" i assume got jew icons defending me, then I got a jew grabbler icon two hours after making that thread!

See? +70 upvotes and a shitstorm started. Thats the real actual post that got so many a Grabbler icon that night! The thread keeps getting admin-edited, or disappearing bit by bit, but the essence is still there. Even the +70 votes now recently became +67!

Seriously, me listing https://vid8.poal.co last is the reason a Jew Namer like me got the "grabbler icon" and somehow lost 2 levels of power (could be algorithmic).

The admin changed his story 4 times as to why I got a Grabber icon 2 hours after that thread and all those people who got them that night :

  • He now claims it was arguing with PMYB2 and himself (I have no memory of arguments and he cited no examples)

  • Prior to that claim he claimed I put my posts in wrong areas, which is not true and he cited no examples other than one +82 News post of mine they shoahed to /USPolitics for spite, over a month before the Grabbler icon. In recent months on other sites I list both his video sites, as critical "mostly free speech" video sites. But my listing it last is still a sore spot with the admin, that strange incendiary thread where I quit this site for 4 months except for critical posts occasionally.

Voat was unique, it was the only alternative at one time, very small like ramble.pw for example... and Poal is very unique, Poal is strong today missing Voat's silly root, its first root at voat was Libertarian Artist type site that followed Hillary vs Bernie...a lot of the Ron Paul Libertarian root with all the buggy glitches, voat started as a Bernie type site, scifi, music people, meme people launched as “WhoaVerse” way back in 2014, and was renamed to “Voat” but when people asked the wrong questions it got attacked. Back in the day Bitchute or Gab or Poal didn't really exist much and voat was one of the few other places where discussion was allowed kinda like the chaos of 4chan, it was the scary anarchy alternative, it could come under spam attack for days.

Voat had shakey foundations, you never knew who ran the show, it seemed to be Atif Colo project I dunno I hear he was bosnia maybe ex albania type muslim moving between Sweden and Switzerland doing college he wasn't bad, allowed people to bash islam, the site was always getting de-monitized, adds pulled, country domains would ban voat. Then as Atif quits a new guy Justin Chastain ran the show but most of the time you didn't know who ran anything, it just seemed chaos. Just when you seen news, a news story about a big event and an online vid or wikileaks about to break, the site could be hacked, 404 errored go offline for hours. When voat got back it front page could suddenly be very 'normie' like notabug.io or some other PC upvoter downvotes social media site.

I found old Voat was more "free wheeling", or "almost anything goes," which can be hilarious at times, and injurious at other times. You developed a thick skin. Nothing wrong with that either.

New Voat/talk has almost none of that really. Still some very good posting which makes visits worthwhile. Old Voat is gone gone gone.

Poal seems to be less tolerant of trolling behavior in general, and quicker to pounce on potential trouble. A line has to be drawn before the law does it for you, lest your freedom lead to state intervention. Poal draws that line more conservatively than old Voat ever did.

As far as freedom of speech goes, on a sliding scale of most to least I would say it ranked old Voat, then Poal, then new Voat/talk.

Quality of speech is another discussion entirely. Comparison of quality is, well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

On voat.xyz (talk.lol) I attempted to go 4 months of relentless attack by paid leftists seeking to chase off educated white people. 4 months was a mistake. 32 paid leftists that infested the 2021 version of "Soap Box Ban Hammer" tried relentlessly to run me off the site like 90% of other people similar to my education level.... but I resisted the brigading, the 150 downvoates by paid leftists every two days, sometimes 300 in 3 days, and the admin on talk.lol erased the downvotes a few times, and kept BANNING the paid jew leftists. He even banned hyper conservatives that attacked me for supporting the SCOTUS definition of fre speech. Let me follow up on this a little bit with a real world example.

I used to live in apartment buildings. One time I lived in a building where the super was a class A1 total prick. At first I resented this greatly. Too many rules for starters. However, in time, I came to appreciate that the place stayed clean. No garbage gathering anywhere and everything worked as it was supposed to. There was always available parking for my guests in the guest parking lot. No broken laundry machines. No unsavory types lurking about where they should not be. No one fucking with my car in the parking garage.

Stuff like that.

Yes the super was a prick, but he ran a tight ship, and he ran it well. He had his shit together and I learned to respect that, because the results were plain to see.

Poal is kinda like that too. Stuff just seems to run well.
