I was merely referring to immediate needs. Your point is extremely valid.
Just don’t want anyone to get caught off guard, a small disruption turns into an extended crisis real fast and without warning. Then you end up on 2 years of civil war…
Most people can look around at their lives and not understand 98% of it is pointless when it happens, and then they start off begging for flashlight batteries and basic food stuffs. It goes real bad real quick after that. There will be no rescue.

Agreed. Winter is coming and 2 months might be stretched, but unless you can hunt or ice fish, you might be stuck.
