Today I saw this post from @QueensNYGuy. The gist of the video is that military service members have to get the vaccine by Friday, or they’re kicked out, losing all earned benefits. Effective Friday, the military will no longer contain any individuals who are willing to disobey an order and lose everything they’ve worked for in order to defend themselves.

Then I was reminded of this post from the other day from @LakotaPride. The gist of this article is that the house just passed HR4350, a red-flag gun law aimed at military service members, wherein a military court can deem any member, active or past, unfit to own or possess a firearm. It also includes this text:

Additionally, military court protective orders issued on an emergency basis are exempted from providing the recipient with the standard “right to due process.” Instead, “notice and opportunity to be heard” must only be provided after an order was already issued.

So within a span of less then two weeks, they will have removed every soldier who would have been likely to defend liberty AND have the ability to strip their personal gun rights away at any moment due to an “emergency.”

I hope you all are stocked on ammo.

And at least two months' supply of foodstuffs, for when things get lean.

Two months is wildly optimistic if that is the possibility you are preparing for. A year is more reasonable, Include a non city or electric pumped drinkable water source.

I was merely referring to immediate needs. Your point is extremely valid.

Just don’t want anyone to get caught off guard, a small disruption turns into an extended crisis real fast and without warning. Then you end up on 2 years of civil war…

Most people can look around at their lives and not understand 98% of it is pointless when it happens, and then they start off begging for flashlight batteries and basic food stuffs. It goes real bad real quick after that. There will be no rescue.

Man I’m glad I started this thread. I wouldn’t have even thought about the fact that city water could be contaminated or cut off

At least have a rain barrel that catches roof water, to wash off the butt funk

Glad I could help. Power, water, supplies. Go right now and turn it all off, declare the roads under martial law and unsafe and start making a list of what you need. If you make it a week you are in the top 5%.

They've been capping natural artesian wells all over Michigan for the past year.

Agreed. Winter is coming and 2 months might be stretched, but unless you can hunt or ice fish, you might be stuck.

That's what ammo is for. If everything goes full bore Serbian style collapse, then food's useless if you cant protect it.

Exactly. Arms are primary, everything else is secondary. You can prep everything you need to survive the rest of your life, but without arms, you will never keep it. You can prep nothing except arms, and you can later use your arms to acquire what you need, as necessary.

Of course try to prep your own stuff, but I’m just illustrating how much more important weapons are than even food and water

There are LEDs that plants can use to grow, even in dark areas. There is a revolution in vertical farming. Of course, this depends on a supply of electricity, but they don't take that much power.

Anything you’d recommend for a small basement operation? I’ve been outdoor gardening for a few years now, but I see the benefit of having year round herbs and peppers.
