Friday evening, after working outside all week, I felt the start of a cold sore forming on my lip. It was just beginning to swell and tingle. I have had them in the past and in my experience they have always lasted a couple weeks minimum. Anyway, week before last I had some work to do near Mexico so I decided to cross the border and pick up some boxes of Ivermectin to have on hand. You all are probably aware but fever blisters are caused from a virus. I decided that since I had the Ivermectin and it is an antiviral and anti parasitic I would just try it out. I had read something about a study where doctors were treating COVID patients with 12mg per day for 5 days. The pills that I got in Mexico were 6mg each and came out to about $1.62 per pill.

Friday evening, upon feeling the onset of the blister, I took my first pill. I proceeded to take pills every morning and evening for the next three days, staying on the 12mg per day regiment. Within 24 hours, Saturday evening, all the swelling was gone and the blister area of my lip was back flush with the rest of my lip. I only had a little bit of tingling feeling. by Sunday evening, day 2, it was virtually gone, I could still feel that there was something there, at the site, but the swelling was gone as well as the tingling sensation. It is now Tuesday, 3.5 days after the initial onset, and it's like I never had a fever blister. I am pretty amazed at the results and thought I should share. Like I said, I don't think I have ever had one gone in less than two weeks. Pretty amazing.

I wondered if Ivermectin would help.. I use L-lysine for cold sores and my daily stack. At onset of the tingle I take 1000mg twice a day for a couple of days and the bump never takes hold. I used to take the prescription med Valtrex, L-lysine works just as good. Super cheap compared to the script. I’m lips suffer from sun/wind burn, guaranteed outbreak if no sunscreen applied.

Interesting. I just told my roommate about the Ivermectin fever blister story this morning and he said he also uses L-lysine.

Lucky you are close to Mexico for scripts!

That is one thing to be lucky about, I suppose.

They won't mail it to you?

I have a dropped or lysine but it is 30 percent alcohol so it burns on open wounds.

I’m so happy as a kid that I never drank rubbing alcohol trying to get drunk. I didn’t even know up until a couple years ago that they’re not the same type of alcohol. Maybe you’ll say, no shit maroonsaint, you idiot. Ok but I used to drink everclear straight and that shit kinda smells like rubbing alcohol. Plus they’re spelled the same

Put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and hold it on the sore. It burns like hell, but it will make it go away much faster.

Caution: taking ivermectin will turn you into a horse.

In their greed to create a never ending stream of vaccine patients they've killed their golden goose. We now all know how to effectively destroy cold, flu, and many other "long term" viruses that have lined Pharma's symptomatic treatment coffers for decades. Big Pharma is so focused on "the vax" that they don't even realize what they've done. Yet.

I get ulcers inside of my mouth when I'm getting sick or when I'm stressed out. L lysine prevents them, though, and if caught early enough will stop them. I usually just take one lysine a week or every other week and it keeps them away for the most part. I think it dissolves the protective coating on viruses so it allows the body to recognize the virus.

How would ivermectin be for Shingles I wonder ?

I have no idea. Are shingles caused by a virus?

[–] 1 pt

Yeah , same one that caused Chicken Pox

[–] 1 pt

Yes. Shingles is caused by some of the many viruses in the herpies family which has infected the spinal column. Frequently causes blisters on the back.

At least that's my understanding...

Herpes resides at the base of your spine when dormant. It always follows the same nerve path when activated, and that is why they always reappear in the same spot.

I personally, would try it. Doctors are giving it to people as a preemptive medication to prevent COVID anyway. I figured, "Why not try it for my fever blister? The worst that will happen is it will help prevent me from getting the flu."

Might do wonders in wet weather but probably be hard to keep in place with roofing nails.

Everybody is like buy bitcoins, buy silver, buy ammos, buy this and that

But from what I'm reading here, if you can stockpile on meds or better, manufacture them, you're jesus king of the world when it comes to trade/"currency" and SHTF scenario. Especially when it comes to pain killers for toothaches. Most people are willing to sell their soul for pain relief during a severe toothache crisis. Vastly underrated skill set/trade.

Put ice on it at the first sign of a herpes bump and keep icing it as often as possible until it goes away. If you catch it early enough you can keep it from blooming into a big sore.

(((ivermectin))) will cure your herpes goyim!!!!

Your post from the other day made my pay attention to a few things. Fuck, you aren't wrong. I don't look for consensus-cracking enough; just the slides. I'd always take a look at what posts they're sliding; now I'm gonna pay attention to what comment-sections they're sliding.

Want to know a potential likelihood of this could be (I have no evidence to assume further HOWEVER) this could be used to further push sexual degeneracy (((liberation))) because "herpes" isn't scary if it can be cured with an anti-parasite.

In my eyes it's the natural path a Weimarification would take.

Maybe, but this information would mostly (firstly? solely?) be absorbed and acknowledged by right-wing terrorists, such as the users on poal. I doubt they're looking to assuage white men's fear of STDs. If your stated theory were the case, they'd be pushing this stuff on etsy and pinterest; or make blacked.com pornos with it as a story-line. However, I will say: they're trying to (and have succeeded, in part) to take the fear out of AIDS. Presumably: to encourage faggotry and coal-burning. So, who knows.
