Since 2008 I've owned a manual transmission car. The few times that I've driven an automatic I have at least once reached for the clutch only to find the break. Fortunately this has never resulted in any harm to others.

This week I had my car in for body work & had a rental; an automatic, and I'm proud to report that I did not slam the break at any time.

Yes, I'm bragging.

You may not have hit the break, but you stomped your foot on the floor plenty of times.

That would explain why I didn't get my deposit back.

I haven't owned a manual for a few years, and I can confidently say that the twitchy left foot never goes away. The urge to press nonexistent pedals is particularly bad if you still drive a manual occasionally.

Lol , when I drive my car I usually try to apply airbrakes when I park. Of course my CAR doesn't have airbrakes

Practice left foot braking.

I know the feeling. It's funny as hell when you have a passenger and do it.

I hate driving. Not really the driving so much as the DUMB CUNTS on the road. Like this fucking DUMB CUNT that I encountered on the way home a couple hours ago. I can’t wait for self driving cars. The only downside to having self driving cars is that these DUMB CUNTS will no longer off themselves by texting while driving and plowing into a tree.
