Step 1: Hey we drone striked a terrorist! Step 2: Whoops! No it was civillians and kids. Step 3: Win their hearts and minds. It's not that brutal occupation is wrong. It's insane that you would do that and not understand that literally the whole population would prefer any other ruler that can get you to leave. I mean how could they not have known the Taliban would sweep the whole country? They could have pulled out Godfather-style, drone striking the shit out of everyone. Instead they just pulled up stakes and ran, allowing the Taliban and etc. to make it look like they chased us out of there. It was so poorly done.
