I had signed up for classes. The university decided to use token 2 auth, so they need your phone number. They need a personal contact in case something goes wrong. They need your address for sending non existent mail to. I tried one of their classes, and their anti cheat system involves having an indian guy looking at you by camera whilst you take the test, and locking your machine. Had to end up using a virtual machine so i could at least ensure their software didn't end up installing a bunch of crap. And people just accept this shit, its so frustrating

you're better off going to a trade school or getting into a trade union that will take you with no experience and train you for the trade they represent at the low cost of union dues.

welding, plumbing, electrician, construction or another trade union all do this.
