We know this for a certainty- the vast majority of currency is coated in all kinds of filth. I think they tested around 1 million different bills of various denominations- they found traces of drugs on most of them.
They found human shit on almost every single bill.
When you touch money, wash your hands afterward. Don't touch your face until you've cleaned your hands.
