If a blatant psychopathic liar occasionally agrees with you, are you suddenly going to start believing them? No. You find the truth for yourself, and you don't promote those known to lie. Don't forgive them. Shun them. Every law we follow or don't follow. Every policy we resist or endorse. Every action. Every person we association with. Every belief we encourage or discourage. All of it is either **eugenic** or **dysgenic**. It leads to either a healthy society, or a dysfunctional society. In my opinion the promotion of "expertism" is horribly dysgenic because it wrongly delegates the much more efficient *distributed* and *meritocratic* process of private opinion formation to public figure heads that are easily duped, swayed, or influenced by outside political concern. In that regard the worship or even mention of experts is a sleight of hand, and a dishonest, albeit, often unconscious, virtue signal, and attempt to shirk the hard duty of every citizen to find the truth for themselves. In light of that, there can obviously be no substitute to the forethought of private fact finding among sincere citizens. Anything else is dereliction of moral duty to the truth and upholding the traditions of the west, which established and maintained us for so long, without which we would have never succeeded as a nation in particular, at all. We would not have forefathers without **forethought**. That is what makes us westerners. That is what makes us American.
