In my opinion the promotion of "expertism" is horribly dysgenic because it wrongly delegates the much more efficient distributed and meritocratic process of private opinion formation to public figure heads that are easily duped, swayed, or influenced by outside political concern. In that regard the worship or even mention of experts is a sleight of hand, and a dishonest, albeit, often unconscious, virtue signal, and attempt to shirk the hard duty of every citizen to find the truth for themselves.
In light of that, there can obviously be no substitute to the forethought of private fact finding among sincere citizens.
Anything else is dereliction of moral duty to the truth and upholding the traditions of the west, which established and maintained us for so long, without which we would have never succeeded as a nation in particular, at all.

Which is why we should discard the worship of experts at all. If you endorse one set, but refuse to accept another, then all you've done is discredited yourself.
