Ive never been stung. Got rattlers and black widows where i live but no scorpions. A few hours away in the deserty part of the state there are these tiny little ant sized scorpions. Ive heard they pack a real punch if one gets you, but that could be bullshit as i know nobody who has ever got stung. I didnt even know there were any in my state, and camping at the dunes by a lake with a friend he told me about them and i called bullshit, so we started flipping over shit along the lake and ill be damned, teeny tiny little suckers ida never seen unless i was lookin for em.
