Most of the people that agree with my stance are leaving or they're just hunkering down. I'm staying because my mother needs me. Once she's gone, I will be getting the fuck outta here before her ashes are cold.

We've talked about it, she's told me it's okay for me to move away, but she's sticking around here because her sisters all live here too and they want one another to be able to visit them on their deathbed or some nonsense like that. My mother also believes she's seen UFOs and that there isn't any gravity on the moon. Plus, she's only voted once in her life and it was for Obama. I don't pretend to understand her, I only know that I would feel guilty if I wasn't around to visit her a couple times a week. Otherwise, yeah, I'd pack all our shit up into a U-Haul and try to get a 2 bedroom in a state with cheap rent for her sake, and mine, she makes good tacos and cheesecakes.
