ALMOST got caught in that trap a month ago! We compromised, I put an offer in, it was accepted, I did the full inspection to find out the skylights were fixed with aquarium glue and roof was fixed with backwards shingles covered with roof tar!
Noped out of that contract pissing everyone off but glad I did and found the current house I just signed a contract for tonight.

Edit: Wait did you mean they where "glued in with caulk?" Or sealed with it?
