It’s weird that fear can be passed down genetically through your DNA. Think of how we all fear that thing in the dark. That monster. Because of our ancestors getting eatin by bears and wolves and giant cats. Or how you can pick up on being watched or hunted. If you’ve ever been in the woods or mountains or something and you got a sudden urge to gtfo. It’s an eerie feeling. Btw never ignore that feeling. If your gut says leave. You’re Probably in real danger. It’s like a sixth senses. I hope before I die we get some kind of scientific idk explanation for how Thats passed down or how it works. Yea Iv seen a couple Weird things but it wasn’t a ghost. What was it idk but it’s not a dead relative floating around. What the hell You gonna do as a ghost? Tell Me. Float around and eat ghost food. Float around an empty house. Talk to other ghosts. If ghosts were real I wouldn’t want to be one because you’ll want to die of boredom

Yeah, it would be boring af, no body to experience physical pleasure either, only living vicariously through observation. And if they were human souls they would have that same massive spectrum of human behaviour instead of being so streamlined towards such odd behaviour.

I guess they rationalise that you become mindless as a ghost in limbo, but isn't the 'soul' supposedly the mind? Seems oxymoronic.

You know what happened one time? This scared the shit out of me but in reality I’m probably just a retard from an outside observer. I was sitting in my room. The house I grew up in. You know how you learn to recognize floors squeaking n stuff. So outside my room was this long hallway. Nobody home. Im playin games. I hear somebody walking down the hall slowly towards my room. Like they’re trying to sneak up on me. My hairs go up. I grab a big ass knife and prepare to stab somebody. My adrenaline pumping hard. It comes towards my door. I’m ready to launch. Right as it gets to my door my door just starts very very slowly swinging open. I’m literally bracing myself to attack. Then there was nobody there. I swear to god I about lost my mind. You know what I bet it was? Probably a water pipe under the floor or some shit. Idk why my door opened though I tried to replicate it but I couldn’t

Water pipes don't make footstep sounds or open doors, either you lost your marbles and went into a state between dreaming & consciousness, or something that you can't really observe wanted to play around with you.

I watch nukes top five on YouTube every week it’s the best ghost channel Iv found. Idk why I watch it anymore even if there was a real ghost on there I wouldn’t believe it. I want to believe so bad but I’m too grounded in reality. I stayed at a former civil war hospital one time, it had been turned into a resort . Every night from 12-4 I would walk the grounds trying to find shit. Never saw anything. Except enough fish that I could have walked on water

I would prefer that they didn't exist but if they do, I wonder why they don't ever bother certain types of people.
