I am the only person at the company that is not vaccinated. they attempted to bully me into getting the vaccine. i am extremely lucky and grateful that i found a good job as quickly as i did. i let them know today that i would be moving on. they countered with "we would be willing to let you work from home to keep you." i declined.

feels good. stay strong but also stay smart.

Don't resign. Make them fire you. If you resign you will not be eligible for unemployment benefits, something that comes out of your every paycheck (in the form of employer-side 'taxes').

Can't get employment benefits if you quit or if you are fired. A furlough or lay off is not the same as being fired and the eligibility for benefits are intact. This is how they control people.

Unemployment benefits are rarely denied even if you are fired. The only sure fire way to lose them is to quit voluntarily.

Nope, being fired puts the onus on the employee as doing something not compatible with company policy, thus requiring termination. I was denied immediate unemployment bc of being fired and that was the exact reason given.

The difference is being voluntarily let go by your employer, not bc of 'policy infractions' but for extenuating circumstances out of your control, ie - not enough work or sudden loss of contracts etc. These are the standard not 'being fired' not bc you refuse or decline to follow / adhere to company policy.
