Yes. So exciting. I saw it was becoming a problem but I didn’t think about it. Go out to start my car. Car is loud as shit. So I go under my car. Sure enough. I can see where they cut it. I don’t know what to do now

Move out of the ghetto.

I don’t live in the ghetto

Then talk to your neighbors. Get together. Form a neighborhood watch.

Let the air out of your tires every night so your car sits too low

They have portable jacks, and they aren't choosy on where they use them.

Hook the positive end of a car battery to your car frame, the hook the ground to an aluminum plate under your car and if at any time they touch both while trying to cut your exhaust they probs die

there are locks you can buy to deter thieves from doing it again. otherwise you can lower your car so they cant access your caty. not sure what youre driving but drop that bitch on its nuts.

I’m thinking about straight piping it. It’s not like it’s hard to jack the car up. I was talking to my dad. He said they had a church mission trip a few months ago and when they came back every single car in the parking lot had theirs cut off

that would be nicer, but doesn't it require a weld?

The best thing I can offer is rockauto.com as far as fair pricing. Next would be surveillance. If surveillance is not an option, then I would get the cheapest cat and use torquetite clamps to install the cat so it can easily be replaced, there are downsides, like possible leaks down the road, but it beats paying a shop to weld new cats in multiple times.
