Resetting the o2 sensors isn't going to be a viable option. As soon as the exu detects high emissions, the CEL is going to come back on. They would have had to program the ecu to ignore or show permanent readiness for the o2 sensors, some call it a tune, or a flash. In most cities you are required to have an emission test performed, part of that test is visual.
