This was in direct regards to the stories about American Express asking it's employees to rank themselves based on skin color and, since capitalism is racist, they shouldn't even exist because their very nature is racist.

The HYSA was easy to cancel, that was simply transferring all funds out and the online system asked me "You're transferring all funds, would you like to close and transfer?" Yes.

The card I had to call about. The rep asked me why I was closing, I said because I've read the stories about how AMEX seems to think that as a white male I'm racist and privileged simply by the color of my skin, I don't need this card anymore. It's directly because of those stories that's causing me to do this.

He tries to explain that those stories have many inaccuracies, and he says it in a way that suggests he's tired of saying that. He goes on to say that he understands that decision and will cancel the card. The rest is just the boilerplate and it's gone.

I kept the AMEX card because it had a really high credit limit and it used to have some good perks, but those have eroded over time and I really haven't used the card. They've told me that they do not need me because I'm automatically racist, but in reality it's me who does not need them.

That's okay.

A little too much money printing lately anyways.

Soon the Whites will deal only in real physical silver and gold again, mainly with each other.

Especially if the electronic banking system is disrupted. and major retail becomes inaccessible.

A day that may be fast approaching.

Get some coins and put them aside in a safe place.

I have plenty of interesting things for trade.

I think I might build a still.

Booze is always a great trading commodity.

Yes. Alcohol, fuel (for a while,) specialty consumables...all will have great value for as long as they last and are useful. Ammunition will as well, but that's not for trade. It's for use.
