She had breast cancer, it went into remission and then metastasized and spread to her bone structure. Diagnosis is terminal, prognosis is 5-7 years. It is what it is.

She goes for checkups at the local hospital fairly regularly. This time, my mother took her just so she'd have company and to catch up on family things. I asked my mother what the conditions of the hospital were like, since we're being told that they're simply overflowing and bursting at the seams.

She said "Other than the emergency room, it was empty. We had to go from one end to the other for various scans and tests, and it was like we owned the place. No one there."

So, where are all the patients that are dying on ventilators? We're just overflowing according to the government, but this information corroborates a story a friend and former coworker told me about one of the larger hospitals here in the city - quiet as a mouse with no one around.

I have pernicious anemia, and the treatment center for that just happens to be the same one as for the cancer patients. I can confirm, the place is empty. The last time I was there (a couple of months ago) I saw 3 people come and go throughout the 8 hours I was there. The rest of the hospital was just as empty by the look of it. I know for a fact that a bunch of the wards are currently closed due to no patients.

I hear that same story over and over.

I live close to one of the larger hospitals in the city. You can tell when it gets busy - just more cars in the lots. That usually happens around winter, which makes sense as respiratory diseases hit harder in the winter. It's not looking very busy right now.

It makes me so mad to think that there must be a lot of people suffering because they think the hospitals are overflowing so they don't seek treatment. I personally know 2 people who had their chemo stopped because "covid", one has since died from lack of treatment. It's just so fucked up.

It is fucked up badly. One of the reports I read (since quietly removed from every source I can find) stated that many of the "excess deaths" were from people not getting the care they needed.
