The factors in changing a liberal's mind are age, intelligence, self-interest, and inherent honesty. All liberals have been brainwashed all their lives to believe the utter crap they believe -- we all have been, from birth.

As a person ages, they begin to see the cracks in the liberal propaganda highway. Self-interest may keep them loyal to the liberal narrative, but only if they are (a) stupid, and (b) fundamentally dishonest with themselves.
