Im leaving but still, everyone here just come off as complete fucking retards. The team is 95% Indian btw. Some guy pinged me at 10PM yesterday to explain he was "blocked" from testing a feature. I looked and all it was was a simple case of turning a button in some portal. Took 5 seconds. The guy is a fucking developer btw ... he should KNOW this shit because he's worked here longer than i have. But more importantly, i work 9 to 5, not 9 to 5 and then 9 to 5 evening time. Nowhere in my job, does babysitting a bunch of dumbshits in another country come into play. And this is how they get you to work 60 hours a week or more, because now all of a sudden you're working 9 to 5, and doing a bunch of side shit for a bunch of retards who cant even do something as simple as clicking a button.
I just got done a call and its like these idiots think im a god or something, expecting me to know all the answers. I've only worked here for a few months at best, so to expect me to be more proficient than the guy who'se worked here for years is a bit much ... Imagine releasing a feature or an app, and having the release coordinator (we have a release coordinator for upper environments, but none for the lower ones) dude (also in India) come back to you and ask what needs to be done. THATS YOUR FUCKING JOB YOU DUMBSHIT, I know what my feature needs, but who the hell can just figure out what some config value buried in the app, internal to the deployment environment is supposed to do?
