Funny edit, yes I don’t burn oak. I burn cedar, yellow and red cedar often spruce. And I don’t know the answer. All I know is that 2 cords of wood will get me through the winter.

PS I don’t believe Ash trees are great firewood trees as they are similar to alder. So you get a lot of creosote and not enough heat to make it worth it. I could be wrong as ash doesn’t grow here
