You can not sell a car if its not registered. However, you need insurance when the car is registered. Except if the car is non functional (like in my case) but registered, it needs insurance, REGARDLESS of the fact that is not riding on public roads or even able to turn on. If you don't, you get fined by the county for a non insured, registered vehicle
Trespass laws in Colorado are dumb. Some shitty store front can put a no guns allowed on premises, and if you dont obey, you are illegally trespassing on the premises. So really your constitutional rights end where some libshit's feelings begin.
People here legitimately are of the belief that milk comes from the store and not a cow, that is HOW stupid the people who live here are. They only deal in the now, like bees, and never in the future. Hoarding, saving money, any kind of prudent concept is completely ignored for the do it now, and fuck the rest mentality. I was talking to my butcher, and he said as much too, that people here are looking for fights, but they have nowhere to displace their anger, so instead it gets sent off to bullshit causes.
Contrary to popular belief, Commierado is extremely polarized. No one likes the front range liberals, no one wants them here, but somehow, every time some liberals make up some new bullshit laws, the Colorado natives just accept their fate and move on. Absolutely no backbone in anyone. This is how red flag gun laws and a bunch of new commie laws were forced in against the will of the majority. At the same time, the commies willingly ignore any laws they dont like, causing very large asymetric enforcement issues.
Denver cops are complete assholes. They will arrest the local county cops in the surrounding counties who are open carrying and "trespassing" into Denver metro. Think about just how retarded this sounds. Essentially, Denver thinks of itself as above the law, flagrantly banning state law. A good example is the open carry ban, which is blatantly against the state constitution, but fuck it, its Denver, and Denver does what Denver wants. If its against the state law, some judge some time, in the next 50 years may or may not get around to striking it down, and even then, wont stop Denver from fucking up your life in the process to make a point
